Frith

‘Frith’ is an old English word meaning refuge or woodland.

Frith is a series of fine art still life photographs showing my new life in Ireland as a patchwork of old familiar objects and keepsakes juxtaposed with ‘gifts’ from the garden.  They illustrate the curation of a new life, where the routine of domesticity offers sanctuary, the ability to cleave to something familiar, whilst planting trees and flowers has helped bond me to the new land.
